Not every Western Canada Theatre play is suitable for every audience member. Some of our shows are ideal for kids, sometimes the work is clearly intended for adults, and sometimes it is dependent upon the specific maturity of our younger audience members. We want to make it possible for you to discern which of our shows will be most suited to you and your guests.

Western Canada Theatre’s family-friendly Christmas production does not include any offensive language or content. Certain scenes, and the appearances of several ghosts, may be frightening for younger children. Age Recommendation: 7+
The Birds and The Bees is a hilariously cheeky comedy about sex, love, science, family, and the artificial insemination of turkeys. Due to the nature of the play, it does feature some mild language and mature content, including partial nudity. Age Recommendation: 14+
An uplifting story about overcoming prejudice and personal upheaval, GLORY does not feature any offensive content. Some mild profanity. Age Recommendation: 9+
Contains swearing and sexual content. Mature and potentially triggering scenes involving residential schools and sexual abuse. Due to the potentially triggering content of the performance, Emotional Support Workers will be available to provide support to audience members who may require it. Age Recommendation: 14+
This hard-hitting yet inspiring drama about bravery and survival contains some potentially triggering content about the horrors of war and mental illness. Age Recommendation: 12+
