is very familiar to Kamloops audiences, appearing in over 15 productions at WCT alone, including a standout performance as Buddy in Elf: The Musical. Other productions at WCT have included Dracula: The Bloody Truth, Boeing Boeing, Noises Off, and last year's Tales from the Stage. Kirk was last seen as a goat in Project X's Gruff. Many years ago, he also appeared as Frank 'N Furter in their production of The Rocky Horror Show. He has worked in theatres across the country in shows such as Don't Dress For Dinner, Billy Elliott, The Rivals, Pride & Prejudice and Little Shop of Horrors, and recently he moved back to Kamloops and became fixture at WCT in the Marketing Department.
Lukas Vanderlip is a British Columbia based composer, sound designer and songwriter who has been working in the local theatre and film industry for over five years, during which time he has worked frequently with Western Canada Theatre, providing music composition and sound design for productions such as VIMY, The Drowning Girls, and Armstrong's War. He has also worked often with other local theatre companies, such as Project X, Chimera Theatre, and the TRU Actor’s Workshop Theatre. In addition, Lukas records and independently releases music under the name “beholding”. Lukas has been involved in the theatre community since a young age thanks to WCT's Stage One Theatre School and has developed a passion for the creation and implementation of deep, immersive worlds of sound for the productions he works on.
